Mr. “Lions Only” Jermall Charlo (27-0, 210KOs) will put his Interim WBC Middleweight title and his unbeaten record on the line against Brandon Adams (21-2, 13KOs) on Saturday June 29th Live on Showtime right in Charlo’s hometown at NRG Arena in Houston, TX.

Jermall Charlo won the IBF junior middleweight title back in 2015 by knocking out Cornelius Bundrage back in 2015. He then successfully defended said title 3 times, before moving up to middleweight. In keeping with the momentum gained at junior middleweight, Charlo proved he can be just as much of a force to reckon with at middleweight by stopping Jorge Sebastian Heiland as well as stopping Hugo Centeno Jr. , quickly attaining the interim WBC middleweight title. Will Brandon Adams slowdown the “lion” of the division Charlo?

Brandon Adams will step into the “Lion’s den” to fight Charlo in his hometown. Adams is the winner of the 2018 season of “The Contender” by making it to the finals and defeating Shane Mosley Jr. via unanimous decision. Adams is a hungry fighter who has been pro since 2011. A fight of this magnitude is just the break he needs to catapult him into stardom.

Will Adams conquer the Lion in his own den? Or will the king of the (middleweight) jungle extend his reign as king?
