A win for Vargas will put him in line to eventually challenge for a title in a third division: super welterweight.
Soto is coming off a massive win against warrior, “Bam Bam” Brandon Rios which took place in February. Soto is looking to amass is 70th pro win. A win for Soto will put him in line for a future match-up against fellow countryman Jaime Munguia, who is the current WBO super welterweight champ.
Vargas and Soto have warrior spirits which will bring a lot of action when this two step into the ring. Also fighting on this card DAZN bring two big world title fights: Srisaket Sor Rungavisai (47-4-1, 41KOs) and Juan Francisco Estrada (38-3, 26KOs) for the WBC and Ring Magazine titles at super flyweight, as well as a bantamweight unification match as WBA champ, Daniel Roman(26-2-1, 10KOs) takes on undefeated IBF champ TJ Doheny (21-0, 15KOs).
