“Baby faced” Brooklyn Brawler, Adam Kownacki ( 20-0, 15KOs) will being fighting for the tenth time at the Barclays Center when he faces off against Robert Helenius (29-3, 18KOs). This bout is a WBA eliminator in Brooklyn’s very own Barclays Center and will be presented live on FOX March 7th.
Kownacki was born in Poland but made his Brooklyn home. When he fights at the Barclays he brings in such a big fan base of brooklynites and proud Polish-Americans. Kownacki defeated the durable and tough Chris Arreola in his last bout. Kownacki also made short work of Gerald Washington when he finished him within two rounds. Kownacki sees this fight ended no different than the other 9 fights he fought at the Barclays, with his hand raised in victory. Kownacki looks to take on the winner of Wilder/Fury once he gets passed this bout.
Helenius stated that this is the fight he has been waiting for. Helenius also stated that ” Kownacki is about to feel the strength of Thor’s hammer.” Helenius is hungry and has won 4 of his last 5 fights. Helenius has not be shy about stating that they will be going to war.
Tune in on fight night to see these two brawl it out in Brooklyn!
