The “Bronze Bomber”, Deontay Wilder (42-0-1, 41KOs) and the “Gypsy King” Tyson Fury (29-0-1, 20KOs) will face off again in a highly anticipated rematch on February 22nd at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas via Fox Sports PPV starting at 9PM/ET. The first fight ended in a split draw which brought on much controversy and talk since then, the rematch looks to end all questions.
Deontay Wilder, regarded as one of the hardest hitting heavyweights in history touts a KO percentage of about 98%, with 41 of his 42 wins coming by way of knockout. Wilder has time and time again shut his critics up with explosive power. Some may say he lacks proper technique and footwork but Wilder is still undefeated and has made every man he faced taste canvas. He wins almost always end with concussive results. Wilder has a true warrior spirit and raw power, mind you he usually comes in anywhere between 20 and 40 lbs lighter than his opponents. Wilder knocked down Fury twice in their first outing and Fury amazingly got up as if he was woken up from the dead in the 12th round. Wilder looks to make sure he doesn’t get up this time.
Fury was outboxing Wilder in their first outing with many believing that even with Wilder scoring two knockdowns that Fury did enough to earn the win and snatch his belt. Fury was quoted telling Wilder at their press conference “You are going to sleep in two rounds. I keep having the same dream about round two. I am playing poker and I get dealt the number two card. He is getting knocked out in round two, 100%.” Fury looks slimmer, all about his business and ready to go.
Both these heavyweight titans still possess undefeated records, they faced off once and know what he is bringing to the table. Both fighters are prideful and will leave everything in the ring come February 22nd tune in and do not miss out on this great rematch!
