Harrison vs Charlo 2: Grudge Match Rematch

Tony “Superbad” Harrison (28-2, 21KOs) and Jermell “Ironman” Charlo (32-1, 16KOs) will headline with their rematch live on FOX on Decemeber 21 via PBC at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.

The bad blood between these two has been boiling over since the end of the first fight in which Harrison dished Charlo his first “L” in a razor thin decision victory to snatch Charlo’s WBC super welterweight title. Charlo feels he was robbed and looks to win this rematch in big fashion. A rematch which was supposed to be back in June but was delayed due to Harrison sustaining an injury to his ankle.

Charlo is known for his power. He won the WBC title back in 2016 with a KO victory over John Jackson. He also has notable stoppages over Charles Hatley and Erickson Lubin. Charlo recently knocked out Jorge Cota back in June. Cota was A replacement for Harrison. Charlo is looking to not leave it up to the judges and really looks to hurt Harrison in the rematch.

Harrison has no fear of Charlo. Harrison was able to keep composure, using a technical defense strategy to nuetralize Charlo’s power. Harrison looks to be even more technically sound overall. Harrison also claims he is looking for the knockout. Harrison feels he is better than Charlo in every aspect and that his style is perfect for Charlo’s style.

The bad blood brewing between these fighters is making for a great fight night! Tune in to Fox on December 21st and don’t miss out!
