Gassiev vs. Wlodarczyk: The Climb To The Top Begins And There Is No Tommorrow

The World Boxing Super Series continues on October 21st, 2017 this Saturday at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. The Series orchestrated by Richard Schaefer and Kalle Sauerland features the best cruiserweights in the world battling for division supremacy and millions in purse money. This Saturday the cruiserweight quarterfinal takes place between Murat Gassiev from Russia, and Krzysztof Wlodarczyk of Poland. Gassiev is a young and strong fighter who carries a record of 24-0, with 17 knockouts. Gassiev 24, is coming off a career best victory in his split decision victory over Denis Lebedev, who has been a fixture in the cruiserweight division for quite sometime. Wlodarczyk 36, is hoping that Gassiev’s victory over a division fixture does not repeat itself. Wlodarczyk is a two time division champion, and carries an established resume which features 53 wins with only 3 losses, with 37 of those victories coming inside the distance. Gassiev’s IBF cruiserweight title will be on the line, and the winner will advance to the semi-final of the World Boxing Super Series. The fight should be action packed as both men have fan friendly style’s, and with this series single loss elimination style both men know that in this tournament there is no tomorrow.
